Cisco 800 – серия высокопроизводительных маршрутизаторов, которые обеспечивают высокий уровень безопасности и надежности, благодаря интегрированному ПО Cisco IOS.
Маршрутизаторы данной линии используются в сетях до 20-ти пользователей, предоставляя им полноценный доступ к интернету или к корпоративной сети через ISDN или Serial каналы.
Применяя Serial порт модно подключится к сети используя технологии Frame Relay или отдельные выделенные линии на скорости до 512 Кбит/с. Через канал Serial можно также подключится к сети интернет используя технологию dial-up на скорости до 144 Кбит/с.
