Блейд-серверы — это компьютерные серверы с компонентами, вынесенными и сведенными в корзину (Шасси) для уменьшения занимаемого места

Управление осуществляется удаленно, благодаря заранее установленной на сервер операционной системе. Обычно это операционные системы Linux или Windows, но стоит отметить, что это специальные версии, предназначенные для управления сервером.
