Dual-band, controller-based 802.11a/g/n/ac, Wave 2

access point Cisco Aironet 1830 series supports the new standard IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2, designed for use in small to medium-sized networks, delivers industry-leading performance to meet growing wireless demands and provide a seamless user experience. The 1830 Series Access point supports a new generation of Wi-Fi customers, such as smarttones, tablets and high-performance knowing TbCops in which support is integrated 802.11ac.

Thanks to the standard 802.11ac Wave 2 Access Point 1830 Series provides data rates up to 867 Mbit/s at frequency 5 GHz, which significantly exceeds the data transfer rates offered by today's high-tech access points of the standard 802.11n. It also provides a total aggregation of the two-band data transmission rate to 1 Gbit/c, which makes it possible to anticipate the needs and expectations of users regarding the performance and bandwidth of wireless networks of enterprises and telecom operators.

For each region (Reg Domain) Cisco releases its own model, which complies with the current legislation of this region. Below are the main regions and their designations:
